Hosts can select to only receive bookings by request. Note that we do recommend choosing ‘Allow instant bookings’ instead, as this results in 20-40% more bookings being made by guests.
The process of receiving bookings when having 'Only bookings by request' selected in your Campanyon 'property rules' is as follows:
- A guest finds your listing on Campanyon and makes a booking request by filling in their preferred dates, number of guests, and payment details. We then reserve the booking on our platform together with the full booking value.
- Once the booking is requested, you will receive a message to respond to the booking request. This booking request expires in 24 hours.
- When you accept the booking request, the booking payment is automatically finalized. The guest receives a booking confirmation.
Please note: To ensure a fast booking process for both guests and hosts, booking requests automatically expire if hosts don't respond within 24 hours. As a host, you are responsible for managing incoming bookings directly. We recommend using our mobile Campanyon app to assist you in this process.
It is important you respond to booking requests. Your acceptance rate on booking requests affects how often people see your listing on Campanyon and through online advertising.
