Hosts have 24 hours to accept or decline your booking request. If they did not respond during that time, booking requests automatically expire. This ensures a fast booking process for both guests and hosts. We highly recommend hosts to accept booking requests as soon as possible so as to not keep you waiting.
If you don't receive a response within a few hours, you could try to give your host a little nudge by reaching out to them again via our secure messaging platform.
You can also choose to cancel your booking request before the hosts accepts the booking. If you do so the reserved money will simply be unblocked, regardless of the cancellation policy that host has selected.
